About Us
At Kid of Character, we believe that every child deserves to know who they are and grow into a confident, compassionate leader. Founded by educator and parent coach Marsha Garrett, our faith-centered program supports families, caregivers, and communities by nurturing character, identity, and biblical values from the earliest years.
With over 40 years of experience in early childhood education, including 24 years as a preschool owner, academy founder, homeschool leader, and curriculum creator, Marsha created Kid of Character to provide practical, memorable tools for raising children who understand their purpose. Our signature Smartieville Model isn’t just a city of cute characters—it’s a guiding framework that equips children to apply lessons in real-life situations, while empowering the adults who lead them.
